The company was previously the retail and pool services division of Pool Source, and is continuing those offerings at the same location. Pool-Aide was split off in 2023 when Pool Source’s owner decided to downsize and exit the retail & services market to focus exclusively on pool installation.
Retail manager Steve Crouch bought the division, where he had been working for over six years while running the store and building the services operation from scratch. With a total of 8 years in the pool industry, Steve brings a wealth of experience and genuine concern for delivering top-notch service.

Customers appreciate Steve’s depth of knowledge of pool chemistry and water analysis. Every day he analyzes water samples and is great at explaining to customers the right products and application methods to optimize and properly balance the pool water. Bring a sample by today and he’s happy to run an analysis and discuss the results with you with no charge for the service! There is a nominal charge for the consumable water analysis cartridge.
His time in the pool industry follows a long professional career in account management and customer service with Nabisco, Kraft Foods, and Mondelez International. Steve completed coursework at University of Tennessee, and earned an Associates Degree in Science at Walters State Community College here in Greeneville.
He has also worked as a math tutor, and volunteered as a coach at both the Greene County YMCA for multiple sports. Steve has coaching certifications, licenses, and memberships with United States Soccer Federation, and with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America now known as United Soccer Coaches. He was the President of the Greeneville Soccer Association where he was a volunteer coach, as well as a volunteer assistant coach for Tusculum Men’s Soccer for 7 years.
He’s also big UT Vols fan, and enjoys hiking and fishing.
